I asked an AI web servece for piano pieces from the time Debussy was living that I didn't know. Based on the results, I read music sheets on IMSLP. I thought I might like pieces by Vierne, downloaded his music books, and played them.
I decided to perform the work "Suite bourguignonne". I think the work is brighter than other works of him.
Also, I decided to perform the work "Silhouettes d'enfants, Op.43". I recorded it first.
I thought that I heard this music "Suite bourguignonne" before, but I realize I hadn't truly listened to it.
I found that some notes and sounds were unfamiliar to me.
Since I think that loud dynamics like ff, fff cannot be achieved on my electric piano, so I considered how to play the parts to sound as if they were ff, fff.
I think that the una corda pedal doesn't produce good sound and it sounds rather blurry on my electric piano. I refrained from using it for this work.
I practiced all seven pieces of the suite. However, I sensed, felt something, I decided not to perform some of them.
I thought I would play other works, but I decided not practice them now.
I've not been to Bourguignonne.
