Pachelbel Chaconne

Pachelbel Chaconne in F Major, P.42

Pachelbel's Canon is well-known.  I played it in the recorder club in elementary school.

I browsed IMSLP to find a piece that can be played as a piano solo.  I'm practicing a piece by another composer in F now, so I chose the Chaconne in F major.

This piece was originally written for organ.

Four bars are repeated with variations.

p, f, etc. are not written in the sheet music downloaded from IMSLP.
But I played this piece adding p, f, ff, <, >, etc. myself.

improvisation just white keys 250628 即興 白鍵

I've been playing some well-known pieces in C Major, though I didn't record them.

I was thinking about C major, pure?, clear?, justice?, etc.

As you may know, even pieces in C major often includes some black keys.

In this improvisation, however, I used only white keys.

Also I wasn't aiming for "C major".   I just moved my hands.

Saint-Saëns, Camille: étude

Saint-Saëns, Camille: étude "Tierces majeures et mineures" Op.111-1

Recently, I browsed IMSLP for pieces of piano by Saint-Saëns.
When I looked at the music sheet of thiw work, I felt like it could be a background music of a movie.

I practiced this piece once or twice, sometimes three times a day.  I think too much practice of this one can be unnecessary strain on the hands and fingers.

Bach, Johann Sebastian: Goldberg-Variationen BWV 988 J.S.

I practice one of variations only one time every day (ignore miss or etc).  I finish all of the variations for about one month, and then I play them again from the start or the last one, I repeat that.  I think I will be able to play them well sometime.

Today I wanted to play this variation 7.
