I was not so much interested in my major: Law. ...
Works
- 1.
I handled administrative paperwork and legal translation while serving cut muskmelon and Kilimanjaro coffee, etc.
I started using a mouse with my left hand. I left the mouse settings as default right-handed use.
Only for a year.
-> 2.
I applied for an office job, but I was hired as a programmer.
I learned basic programming, sometimes taking part in major system remediation, and
sometimes debugging in a freezing room to find the cause of an irregular error.
-> 3.
I used a mouse in each hand to test and compare two PCs simultaneously, determined reproduction steps for the bug, and used a third PC to report the bug. The next morning, I checked the bug fixes that overseas engineers had resolved while I slept, and continued testing.
I enjoyed talking with colleagues over lunch, bug-bash pizza, after-work drink.
-> 4.
I analyzed several technical documents, made suggestions for clarifying differences and refining long complex noun phrases if necessary, drafted and translated documents and so on.
I studied for and passed a related certification exam while working.
